As music teachers, graduated from the Conservatorio de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires “Ástor Piazzolla”,for us teaching and sharing the resources of tango guitar playing is a very important matter. Besides our institutional studies, we have an education of “orejeros” (means playing by ear) in tango music, as a consequence of many nights and concerts shared with great masters and musicians of argentinian actual tango scene, where we learned issues of “swing” and secrets of the tango language that are not teached in music schools or conservatoires.
That's why we decided to spread and share our knowledge and, besides our activities as guitar players, arrangers and composers, we also dedicate to give Tango Guitar Workshop in several institutions. In these classes, we work in a practical way the distinctive resources of tango guitar playing, as well as accompaniment in tango, vals criollo and milonga rhythm. Classes are intended for amateur and professional guitarists, as well as musicians in general who want to approach the basics of tango music.
We have done Workshops in musical institutions such as the Conservatorio de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires “Ástor Piazzolla”, the Universidad Católica Argentina, the Escuela de Música “Pipo Ferrari” of Luján, among others, as well as in our tours in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
